Ultraviolet è la nuova collezione di Gerard’s pensata per l’Autunno-Inverno 2012. Una serie di prodotti volti a rendere la donna ancora più femminile e sensuale grazie a colori avvolgenti e texture di ultima generazione.

Pashmina Beige/Amber
Il make up inizia sempre dal fondotinta, la base sulla quale andare a stendere tutti i prodotti successivi. Gerard’s propone una nuova formulazione di fondotinta, una sorta di crema-polvere che si fonde sulla pelle non appena la si applica. Il prodotto si presenta come un vero e proprio fondotinta fluido, in realtà però una volta a contatto con la pelle diventa una mousse, una polvere che si fonde perfettamente con l’incarnato lasciandolo molto vellutato.
Il finisch è quindi tendente al matt ma lascia comunque una discreta luminosità alla pelle. Non è completamente opaco per cui il risultato rimane sempre molto naturale a discapito di altri fondotinta di questa tipologia che tendono a rendere il viso un po’ “impolverato”.
Purtroppo le colorazioni sono solo due. Per me va sicuramente bene quella più chiara anche se comunque la devo mescolare con un po’ di crema idratante per schiarirla ulteriormente. Il mio incarnato è davvero chiarissimo e trovare una tonalità chiara di fondotinta non è un’impresa semplice.
La durata è buona, il fondotinta dura fino a sera anche senza primer viso. Nonostante il suo effetto cipriato consiglio sempre di applicare un velo di cipria per fissarlo al meglio.
Ombretto fashion Pink Mauve / Ultra Violet
Gli ombretti proposti sono sulle tonalità del rosa; un bel rosa chiaro e un violetto. Possono essere utilizzati da soli oppure in combinazione per creare un look più sofisticato.
Il rosa chiaro è perfetto da utilizzare su tutta la palpebra mobile per illuminare lo sguardo.
La texture è molto morbida e assolutamente non polverosa. Si stendono con facilità con un colore mediamente pigmentato e molto uniforme. Il finish è leggermente satinato e molto elegante.
Lip Balm Violet
Bellissimo a vedersi anche se in realtà si tratta di un gloss trasparente. Questo è forse il prodotto che mi ha delusa di più, avrei infatti preferito un colore più pigmentato ed originale, anche per rimanere in linea con il colore principale della collezione.
Lipstick Emotion Vibrant Raspberry
Un tocco di rosso non manca mai, per cui ecco un rossetto particolarmente elegante dalla confezione lussuosa. Il rosso ha sottotoni viola-blu e tende a rendere i denti più bianchi.
Preferisco di gran lunga questa tonalità di rosso piuttosto alle versioni aranciate in quanto rende il sorriso più brillante ed essendo un colore freddo lo ritengo più portabile per il mio colore di pelle.
La texture è molto morbida ed idratante. Buona la durata.
Nella formulazione troviamo la vitamina E, antiossidante ed emolliente che aiuta a rendere le labbra vellutate e morbide per ore ed ore.
Vernis Smoky Brown
Infine non poteva mancare un prodotto per unghie. Si tratta di uno smalto a lunga durata e di un bel colore Taupe-marrone scuro. Una tonalità sempre di moda e che sa essere anche molto elegante.
Il colore è intenso con una sola passata, lucido e brillante.
Come tutti gli smalti di questa azienda non contiene formaldeide nè toluene.
