A little note on the format and the price (and the format)
But there is one thing that I can't help but point out to you, because it concerns a trend that is becoming increasingly common in many brands, especially the Italian natural ones. If you loved the old Vernissages of Neve Cosmetics, you may remember that the tube contained 4 ml of product, with a price around € 9,90. With the new ones Gloss Jelly Cream instead we are at 2 ml for €14,90. Exact, half the product at a higher price.
Ok, the formula is definitely more advanced – super buttery, jelly effect, rich in active treating agents – but the change in format still leaves one a bit perplexed. I understand the desire to renew and improve, however 2 ml is consumed quickly, especially if you're like me and touch up your makeup often throughout the day.
And unfortunately it is not an isolated case. I noticed the same thing in the new tonics from Biofficina Toscana: only 100 ml, and even then the price is not really proportionate to the size. A real shame, especially if we compare it with Korean skincare, where you can find serums and ampoules of 50 or even 100 ml, with high-performance formulas and affordable prices. That's where the quantity/price ratio is more honest.
I understand that there is important research behind the formulation, and that Italian natural brands have different costs than Korean ones, but a little more balance would be really appreciated. Otherwise there is a risk that the product – although valid – it will not be bought again for a simple question of convenience.

Hi Veronica, thanks for your comment, I'm honored by your words! You're absolutely right, in fact the previous Vernissage were 4 gr, this new version is 2 ml. Unfortunately this is the trend, higher price and half the size. If I'm not mistaken the old Vernissage cost around €9,90 (for double the size). These new ones, you want us to have a super technological formula... but still they are half the size and cost €14,90. There's something wrong... but in almost every brand it's like this (the Italian natural ones then seem to have become a must), I also pointed it out in the new "toners" by Biofficina Toscana which are only 100 ml (for a toner it's nothing) and have an unreasonable price in my opinion... In Korean skincare it's not like this at all! The sizes are very generous and the prices well balanced, just think of their 50 or 100 ml ampoule serums! Meh...
Anyway, thank you again for the note made, I thought to update the article to insert a chapter dedicated to this format - price issue. I also intend to write an article about it because the situation is becoming embarrassing ...

It's the same for the cosmetics brand Lepo, there would be some interesting products here too. They made lipstick pencils with a sensitive pH of 2,8 g and they cost 15,90 and they also have lipsticks that change color, always sensitive pH 3,5 ml, 17,90, it's an exaggeration, not even if they had gold inside them. However, I haven't bought these things yet and I won't. There are no controls for exaggerated prices, everyone does what they want. I should find out more about these Lepo products because the prices seem really exaggerated to me…no comment.
With sensitive and reactive skin, natural products are often not very suitable, I would recommend the ones from the pharmacy, the fact is that here the price goes up. In any case, brands like Bionike have formulas indicated for reactive skin. It would also be important to know if there are ingredients that cause allergies or sensitize your skin because maybe there are low-cost brands that do not have those particular ingredients. For example, even essence, which is very low-cost, usually has good products and is also suitable for sensitive skin.
Always at the pharmacy you can also find brands like Euphidra and Korff which are very good. I would also recommend mineral make up, for example bareMinerals, if you are not allergic to particular ingredients they use it could be good. Even here however they are not cheap.
