Among the most interesting novelties of the moment in the world of face primers we find Revolution Pro Blur & Fine Line Filler, a compact pot product designed to instantly smooth skin, minimizing pores, wrinkles and fine lines – both on the face and lips.
A “targeted” cosmetic, to be applied only where needed, which promises an immediate filler effect and a visibly more even complexion from the first application.
New Multipurpose Primer Revolution Pro Blur & Fine Line Filler
Revolution Pro Blur & Fine Line Filler primer is defined as a little jar of magic. It is a face primer which instantly smoothes the skin, minimizes wrinkles, expression lines, crow's feet, acne scars and enlarged pores.
Being a multipurpose primer and with such a light texture, it can also be used on the lips to minimize wrinkles vertically or in the eye contour area.
What it is and who it is recommended for
Revolution Pro defines this primer as a “jar of magic blur”, and the claim is no coincidence: the formula is designed to optically fill micro-wrinkles and make the skin extremely smooth to the touch and to the eye, without creating thickness or a waxy effect.
Ideal for:
- Nasolabial wrinkles, eye contour, vertical wrinkles around the lips
- Enlarged pores on the nose, cheeks or forehead
- Expression marks (crow's feet, forehead lines, barcode)
- Areas with uneven texture or post-acne scars
- Who is looking for a primer no-weight, invisible and breathable
It can be used alone for a smooth “no makeup” skin effect, or as a extremely perfecting makeup base under foundation, concealer or lipstick.
Texture and performance
The consistency is a compact and velvety cream/gel, easy to apply with your fingers. Once applied, it melts into the skin and becomes completely colorless and opaque, creating a “FaceTune” filtered skin effect, but without appearing chalky or heavy.
Immediate effect:
- Visibly minimized pores
- Optically filled wrinkles
- Smoother and more even skin to the touch
- Natural soft matte finish, not powdery
Unlike classic silicone primers to be spread all over the face, this product is designed for a targeted use, “spot treatment” style: you apply it only where needed, a very small amount is enough.

The formula
The base of the formula is a blur effect, with a mix of smoothing silicones + soft focus powders.
The texture, although containing dimethicone (necessary for the filler effect), has been balanced to be breathable and also suitable for combination and oily skin.
✔ Vitamin C → brightens and evens out skin tone
✔ Vitamin E → antioxidant and protective
✔ Soft-focus powders → instant optical filter effect
✔ Vegan & Cruelty Free
The primer is enriched with Vitamin C: ed E for an antioxidant, hydrating and illuminating action.
📌 Formula NO: perfume, alcohol, essential oils, glitter, parabens (only propylparaben present in low percentage)
The formula is vegan and cruelty free.
The product is offered in a single universal shade.
Ingredients – Inci: DIMETHICONE, DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER, MICROCRYSTALLINE WAX (MICROCRYSTALLINE WAX, CIRE MICROCRYSTALLINE), ISONONYL ISONONANOATE, KAOLIN, PETROLATUM, C30-45 ALKYL METHICONE, C30-45 OLEFIN, PROPYLPARABEN, BHT, ETHYLHEXYL PALMITATE, POLYBUTENE, PARAFF INUM LIQUIDUM (MINERAL OIL, HUILE MINÉRALE ), ISOPROPYL MYRISTATE, BIS-DIGLYCERYL POLYACYLADIPATE-1, CI 77491 (IRON OXIDES), CI 77492 (IRON OXIDES).
How to use it
Revolution Pro Blur & Fine Line Filler can be used as smoothing makeup base before foundation or even alone for a naturally perfected complexion.
It can also be used as lip primer with a smoothing action and to make the lipstick last longer. Also ideal for use in the area of eye contour for a smoothing action and a greater hold of the concealer.
The primer should always be applied to well-cleansed and hydrated skin.
For a perfected, weightless complexion with a hydrating action, I recommend the new one Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Care & Glow Foundation, ultra light and with a naturally luminous finish.
- Before foundation → to fill pores and lines
- On the lips before lipstick → smooths vertical creases and improves durability
- Eye contour → as a base for concealer, without drying
- Without makeup → for a natural smooth skin effect, no-makeup makeup
- Apply with fingertips, patting – do not rub.
- You only need a very small amount of product: 5 ml lasts a long time precisely because it is a “localized” primer.
Packaging
The primer is offered in a small 5ml pot. The frosted glass jar It is topped with a shiny chrome cap.
Primers usually have a higher quantity, around 30 ml. The fact of having only 5 g of products suggests a decidedly more targeted application, therefore a product that should be applied locally and blended into imperfections. This targeted use is certainly more recommended than a generalized application over the entire face.
Pros & Cons: Is it really worth buying?
| ✅ PRO | ❌ AGAINST |
|---|---|
| Filler effect visible immediately | Small format (but consistent with targeted use) |
| Perfect even without makeup | Not suitable for those who avoid silicones |
| It doesn't pill with foundation | It does not correct discolorations (it is not a colored primer) |
| Vegan, cruelty free, budget friendly | May cause slight shine on very oily skin if applied to large areas |
| Can be used on lips and around the eyes | Requires manual skill: it must be applied by tapping |
| Does not highlight flakes or dryness | Available online only in many countries |
Comparison with other similar primers
| Product | Typology | Outcome | Main difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Benefit Professional | Classic silicone primer | Minimizes pores | More pasty and silicone-like, less natural |
| KVD Lock-It Pore Refining | Colorless stick | Strong mattifier | Drier, less suitable for dry skin |
| Clarins Instant Smooth | Primer in pot | 3D velvet effect | More hydrating, but much more expensive |
| Kiko Matte Face Base | Fluid primer | Mattifies but not fills | It doesn't fill wrinkles |
| Revolution Pro Blur & Fine Line Filler | Targeted primer | Filler + blur effect | Cheaper, more “spot treatment” |
Result: it is the cheapest dupe of the Clarins Instant Smooth and Tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer, but in a mini and more multitasking format (face + lips + eye contour).
My personal opinion (even without direct testing)
Even though I haven't tried it yet, I can say that:
- The INCI is consistent with the promise: silicones + blur powders = realistic filler effect
- It is one of the few low cost primers that contain vitamin C and E → not just makeup, but skincare
- The 5ml format is a great idea: it's a product to use zoned, not full-face layer
- I see it as perfect for photographic makeup, bridal makeup and skin with expression lines
- Avoid only if you are already using a very silicone-based and heavy foundation → risk of pilling
On paper, it's one of those "must-have" products, even if just for pore/wrinkle emergencies.
Which skin will love it? (+ how to match it)
| Skin type | Directions for use |
|---|---|
| Mixed/Oily | Use only on pores and lines, avoid the T-zone if you get shine. |
| Normal | Perfect! Use it before foundation or just on your lips. |
| Dry/ripe | First apply a rich moisturizer → then the filler only where needed |
| Acne prone skin | Great for filling post-acne craters without suffocating the skin |
Recommended foundations to pair with:
- For mature skin → Dior Forever Skin Glow
- Light glow → Lancôme Teint Idole Care & Glow ✨
- Opaque but natural → Estée Lauder Double Wear Sheer
- Mineral powder → BareMinerals Original Foundation
