As the warm season approaches, Pupa offers Navy Chic, a fresh, bright, and vibrant spring collection, instantly conjuring up seaside atmospheres and summer dreams. A line packed with exciting new products and additions, some of which I hope to see featured in the permanent line.
Pupa Navy Chic Spring 2014 Collection Review
Pupa Navy Chic is a makeup collection that plays with the colors of the sea, the sky, and the light reflected on the water. The shades range from intense blues to delicate wisteria, passing through metallic accents and velvety finishes, creating an extremely coherent and refined proposal. It's a collection designed for Spring, but with a spirit already projected towards Summer, perfect for those who love a make-up bright but well-kept.
I've had the opportunity to try several products from the line, and overall, the quality has proven to be very high, both in terms of texture and final result. Let's now take a detailed look at my experience with each product.

Vamp! Compact Eyeshadow Palette
Eyeshadow Palette – Pure Color, Absolute Payoff
Recommended price: € 16,90 - Format: 4 gr
The Navy Chic collection offers three compact eyeshadow palettes, each featuring highly pigmented eyeshadows and a surprisingly creamy texture. The powders never feel dry or powdery and, once applied, blend seamlessly into the eyelid.
Blendability is one of its strengths: even the lightest colors appear full and visible, without the need for excessive layering. Each palette features matte, satin, and luminous finishes, allowing you to create complete and harmonious looks, from the most natural to the most intense.
With the use of a good primer, the staying power is excellent: the colors stay vibrant all day long. The packaging is also very elegant, with a silver case decorated in blue, a large mirror, and a double applicator.

Matic Stylo
Stylo fresh effect eyeshadow
Recommended price: € 14,00 - Format: 1.5 gr
This is without a doubt one of the novelties that has won me over the most. Matic Stylo are stick eyeshadows with a gel formula, characterised by an immediate fresh effect and an elegant and modern brightness.
The texture is much lighter than a classic creamy eyeshadow: the color glides evenly across the lid, creating a luminous and refined "water" effect. Applied alone to the entire lid, they instantly make the eyes look fresher and more rested, without being overpowering.
They are very easy to apply and blend, ideal even on the most hectic mornings. They last excellently and the product does not accumulate in the creases, especially when combined with a eye primer.
Il packaging it has a retractable stylus and the color of the packaging exactly matches the shade of the stick.

Vamp! Professional Eyeliner
Waterproof eyeliner with ultra-fine brush
Recommended price: € 14,00 - Format: 4.5 ml
The eyeliners in this collection mirror the formula of the permanent Vamp! Professional Liners, which is already a great sign. The line is bright, intense, and slightly glossy, perfect for a luminous makeup look.
The ultra-thin brush allows for precise and controlled application, while the formula spreads evenly without streaking. It's long-lasting: the color stays vibrant all day without fading.
Even though they are waterproof, they can be removed easily and without staining the skin, a feature I always appreciate.

Like a Doll Cream Blush
Cream blush with a “second skin” effect
Recommended price: € 13,60 - Format: 4.4 ml
Like a Doll Cream Blushes are a guarantee, and this collection confirms their quality. The creamy texture transforms into a powder upon contact with the skin, giving a natural, fresh look without weighing it down.
They blend extremely easily, both with fingers and a brush, and are stain-free. Even the brightest shades are wearable, thanks to their ability to blend with the skin.
They are also excellent for combination or oily skin, because they are not greasy and do not mark pores.

Miss Pupa Velvet Matt
Long-lasting matte lipstick
Recommended price: € 12,90 - Format: 3.3 ml
Miss Pupa Velvet Matt products stand out for their intense pigmentation and velvety finish. The color is full and covering from the first coat, and the matte effect is elegant and modern.
The yield of the product is excellent as the lipsticks are extremely pigmented and write on the first swipe. The color applied to the hand has a very creamy consistency and at first glance the stick seems hydrating; on the lips, however, it tends to dry out and highlight hangnails. For a good result, therefore, I recommend applying the product only on perfectly hydrated lips, without hangnails or signs of chapping (help yourself with a good scrub).
La duration it is very good and the color remains lively and homogeneous for about 6 hours.

Lasting Color Gel
Glass effect enamel
Recommended price: € 6,50 - Format: 5 ml
Lasting Color Gel polishes are among my all-time favorites, and the new Navy Chic shades are no exception. The glass effect is instant, the color is rich from the first coat, and the shine is truly intense.
The flat, wide brush makes application incredibly easy, making it quick and precise. It lasts longer than average and dries quite quickly.

Lasting Color Matt
Matte nail polish
Recommended price: € 6,00 - Format: 5 ml
The matte version completes the Navy Chic look with an original and sophisticated manicure. Application requires a little more care than gel polishes, as the color tends to highlight any imperfections and may require multiple coats.
Once dry, however, the matte finish is uniform and very elegant. Note that the polish appears shiny when first applied, becoming matte only as it dries.
Conclusion
Again, Pupa manages to win me over with a well-studied, coherent and quality collection. Navy Chic It's a line that works perfectly for both Spring and Summer, thanks to fresh colors, comfortable textures, and practical products.
The real protagonists, in my opinion, are the Matic Stylo eyeshadows, a very successful new product that I really hope to see again in the permanent line. The eyeshadow palettes and eyeliners are also excellent, while the blushes and nail polishes remain a firm favourite.
A collection that absolutely deserves to be seen and experienced in person.

of this collection I only bought the 002 lipstick which is very beautiful especially if combined with the 303 lip pencil also by pupa. Unfortunately I don't like the colors that turn blue and all the other similar shades... instead I'm really appreciating the summer collection Carioca which I highly recommend.
