Dear Nuvoline, yesterday I didn't have time to update you on the divas' looks at the Cannes Film Festival, so this evening we'll have a double dose!
Yesterday, the world-famous Milla Jovovich walked the red carpet in a truly dazzling and slightly retro look. She sported beautiful gray-black makeup with lots of sparkle, highlighted by a vibrant red lip. Framing her face was a retro-style hairstyle with soft waves. The diva looked truly radiant!
However, I usually prefer something a little softer, and I was really impressed by Laetitia Casta's makeup, a flawless yet understated and elegant look. The main colors used are pearl gray for the eyes and red for the lips. A touch of rosy pink is also applied to the cheeks, making her complexion look even fresher and more youthful! Gorgeous…
And for smoky eye lovers...you can't miss this look by Alinne Moraes, expertly constructed with three shades that really bring out her eye color. The eyes are black, green, and gold; the lips are a beautiful bright pink with a reddish hue. Gold is one of my favorite colors on brown eyes!
And here are some tricks for creating this type of makeup, directly from Billy B:
The emerald green color is applied under the brow bone and in the outer corner of the eye.
Gold is applied to the eyelid, finishing with a blend over the black eyeliner. The lips are given a touch of elegance with a beautiful pink-red hue.
