Bio‑Oil is a specialized skin care oil that helps improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone. It is also very effective for combating other skin problems, such as aging and skin dehydration. Bio‑Oil has been the recipient of 126 dermocosmetics awards and has become the #1 product in 14 countries worldwide since its launch in 2002 to help improve the appearance of scars and stretch marks.
Bio-Oil looks like a all-purpose oil, ideal for combating aging, skin blemishes, stretch marks but also dull complexion and dehydrated skin.

It contains an innovative ingredient, namely the “PurCellin Oil™, which modifies the overall consistency of the formulation, making it light and non-greasy and ensuring that the active ingredients, contained in vitamins and plants, are easily absorbable. "
La texture of the product is obviously oily even if it is certainly less heavy than you might think. A few drops are enough, apply by massaging and absorb quickly, leaving the skin soft and non-greasy.
When applying it on stretch marks it is necessary to insist on the massage, trying to spread the product in the opposite direction to the direction of the stretch mark; the same thing goes for scars.
Obviously a cosmetic cannot work miracles, but by using it consistently every day and above all with a good massage I noticed that some existing stretch marks have diminished slightly; in particular the skin appears more elastic, as if it were more taut and hydrated so even stretch marks are less visible.
Having slightly combination skin, I was a little afraid to use the oil directly on the face; I preferred it then apply it to the damp skin of the body, vaporizing thermal water. In this way, a sort of water-oil emulsion is formed which is quickly absorbed, leaving the skin hydrated and non-greasy. It is definitely a treatment to be done in the evening, so that the skin has the whole night available to better assimilate the product. I have actually noticed improvements: small discolorations are attenuated, consequently the skin appears more uniform. Consequently, being a nourishing oil, I have fewer dry and/or chapped areas for overall brighter and healthier skin.
The scent is pleasant and fresh.
Overall I would recommend this product, both because you can use it all over the body depending on your needs, and because the results are actually visible, you just need to be consistent in your applications.
The only negative aspect, especially for lovers of eco-organic products, is that contains Liquid Paraffin ranked first in the INCI. Personally, however, I didn't have any kind of reaction problem, despite having very sensitive skin. What is certain is that calling the product Bio-Oil is very misleading for the consumer because obviously it is certainly not an organic product, on the contrary.

Too bad I didn't find it in Sugar, it seems very interesting and I'd like to try it to see if it would be useful for lightening acne spots/scars
HI,http://lepassionidisarablogger.blogspot.it/" rel="nofollow">New follower Congratulations for your accurate and precise review, I am also trying Bio-oil but only on the face since it is the use that interests me the most to try to reduce blemishes and discolouration and it seems that some improvements are starting to be seen, I've been using it for a few weeks,
Sorry but paraffin is inert and doesn't create reactions... that's okay! however it cannot be accepted in an oil for body care, it is a petroleum derivative and creates bacterial fermentations!!! we must stop being fooled by advertising!!!!
