With great pleasure I can present to you some products from Youngblood, a brand that I met for the first time in 2011 at the Cosmoprof in Bologna. It has always intrigued me also because during the fair I had my make-up done by their make-up artist and I really liked the result.
Youngblood was born in 1996, in Los Angeles. He stands out for his cruelty free formulations, aimed at giving maximum results by seeking natural ingredients.
In this review they offer you two products for face make-up, a liquid foundation and the brush to apply it while in a future article we will talk more about eye make-up. Unfortunately, the foundation is too dark in color for me and I wasn't able to test it personally but I still found a "guinea pig" (very happy to be one!).
Liquid Mineral Foundation
30ml bottle – $47.00

Golden Tan color |
A foundation specially formulated for dry skin. Thanks to its particular “Deep Sea Hydrating Complex” it manages to give hydration to the skin which becomes dry easily, especially when applying foundation. Brushes and sponges, in fact, no matter how soft and delicate they may be, always tend to dry out the skin a little and raise cuticles (those who suffer from seborrheic dermatitis know something about this).
In the formulation we find more than 20 marine extracts that help revitalize the skin.
Leaves pores free to breathe and gives a smooth and compact appearance.
The product has good coverage and is particularly buildable. With a single application the result is certainly more natural but if you want to cover the most obvious imperfections two coats are enough, adding a touch of concealer in strategic points.
The packaging is very convenient thanks to the dispenser which allows you to dispense the right amount of product.
The product itself is very good, but there is a but... The writing Liquid Mineral Foundation could mislead the consumer as it is not a real mineral foundation or at least not completely. In the formulation we find some silicones in the upper part of the index, even one is in second place. There is no shortage of myriad mineral extracts, however these "artificial" ingredients such as PEG and Disodium EDTA clash a bit with the company's underlying eco-friendly philosophy.
On the other hand I must say that I only noticed this kind of ingredients in this product.

Liquid Foundation Brush
$45.00
Here is the best foundation brush I have ever used. I finally experimented with a product that spreads liquid foundation well without leaving streaks on the skin.
It is a very soft brush with rounded and very dense bristles. It makes the complexion even, allowing you to apply multiple coats of product without it layering on the skin.
It is very robust and resistant; it does not lose bristles and remains very compact and soft even after several washes.
It offers good coverage and is a real treat on the face!
