To combat oxidative stress, Mavifé has created a hydrating facial treatment that lasts 24 hours on the skin, making it particularly soft and nourished. It is a complex of plant extracts, such as Baobab, Perilla, Beeswax, Vitamin, a mix of ingredients that deeply nourish the skin.
The texture of the cream is quite full-bodied and can actually be heavy on combination skin and with imperfections due to excess sebum. In fact, I recommend this treatment for drier, mature skin with chapping skin problems.
The cream promises to help relax facial features, minimizing small expression lines and preventing new ones. It also has an illuminating and regenerating action.
On normal to dry skin I recommend applying the cream twice a day, morning and evening. On very dry skin this treatment is also ideal as a base for make-up, especially if you use powdered mineral make-up which tends to mark expression lines on mature skin. Using a highly hydrating and nourishing treatment, the skin does not flake during the day, consequently the mineral make-up remains perfectly adherent to the skin without marking expression lines. On combination skin, I recommend applying the product only as a night treatment as the texture could be a little too full-bodied.
It is certainly an excellent hydrating treatment that leaves the skin pleasantly relaxed, soft and velvety.
The packaging is certainly impressive. The product is enclosed in a beautiful black plastic jar with square shapes and rounded edges. Something different than the classic face cream jar.
